Weird, but in a good way, like Paprika
Okay so I just watched the first episode, and decided to give this a five star rating so far. It's concise and let's in from the very beginning that you're going to experience something surreal. I noticed a couple of silly reviews that clearly missed the point. If you don't like surreal shows, this is not for you, and you shouldn't rate it low because you can't appreciate it. In any case, I'm ...

    Slow ride to nowhere
This is a show about a guy helping girls through their emotional hangups by interacting with them through their dreams. If you like shows that are episodic in nature, with an emotional reward at the end, this might be for you. If you're looking for something with an interesting overarching plot, you wont find one outside of the individual episodes.

Note: I dropped this after 6 episodes so if ...

hardest anime to watch but worth it
This was seriously one of the saddest and hardest anime's to watch but worth it. I would still highly recommend this to any one who wants to watch an anime with some depth to it. You seriously need an open mind though and an understanding soul. It explores the many plights of women mostly.

4 episodes in and I'm already feeling like I'm forcing myself to keep watching.
I generally dislike reviewing a show before finishing it. But frankly I don't think I want to finish this show. It's extremely episodic and the main characters have gotten almost no actual character development because so far each episode has focused very heavily on a "character of the day".

While each episode has developed an interesting character it seems like that development is pointless ...

    Witch Way Leads Home?
Definitely hard to categorize. The story jumps straight into magic and witches without the audience or the protagonist having any idea of what's happening. Our lead establishes early on that he's entered a dreamscape, but seems unsure as to what that might imply. And the sudden deus ex machina appearance of a dream researcher proves surprisingly unhelpful. But our guy Haruto has ...

  • I wanted to like this
I love surreal anime, but the drastic shift in visuals and lack of any character progression holds this back. In the second episode the lead character actively does something that goes against the morals of the person who is helping, and there's no reference to this later. The status quo was upset at the end of episode and it's not addressed. Episodic shows only work if things go back to where ...

  • This show is under-rated
It has a strange vibe to it but after seeing the 1st episode my 1st thought was "Nightmare on Elm Street" and the 2nd episode was pretty much that.

This is a really depressing show that punches you in the feelz every single week, not 1 episode was normal, all of them so far have made me go "what the fuuuu~".

I appreciate this show, makes me get emotional sometimes because I can relate.

Don't Be Fooled by the Poor Synopsis (or Your Preconceived Notions, Either!)
This one is a combination of a poor synopsis and my preconceived notions keeping me from this show earlier.

"After going to sleep like normal, Haruto Tsukishiro wakes up to discover something unbelievable—he's stuck in dream world! Here, witches plague the dreamscape and are more than dreamy figments—they're the trapped souls of young women who've rejected reality and are afflicted by the ...

Amazing Anime! Really brings you in
Found this anime during my free trial with premium. Loved the first episode and wasn't sure how they were going to make it better, but they did. The second episode took a pretty far turn from the first and the third took an even bigger step in a different direction. It keeps you wanting more and always leaves you trying to guess what will happen next.

This is a Hit or Miss Anime
To be honest this anime is very interesting in my opinion. Although, you either love it or you hate it.

This is based on a dreamlike world which connects to reality, and there are Witches within the dreams who have "Beauty Sleep Syndrome" (which sounds very similar to a coma).

You'll love this anime if you like to get lost in the world/confused and see no boundaries, and have to actually ...
