  • A thousand interesting ideas, zero intention of doing anything with them
This is--no joke--the worst anime I've seen in some time. The biggest problem here, what ultimately kills this series, is that it spends almost its entire length world-building and dumping exposition but never doing anything with it. Even when it tries, it either fails horribly or contradicts itself.

  • Speaking so far from watching 8 episodes
I came into watching this anime expecting romance. I have no clue why but that's me. Here is what I learned from watching thus far:

This anime is pretty good. It is relatable in terms of real life despite the monster characters. In some episodes, real concerns that girls often have are somewhat highlighted, which I really enjoy. In addition to girl concerns, this anime also fills the audience ...

  • Too fluffy and disconnected
Honestly this was way too all over the place. It was non-nonsensical and had no real story line. The characters were pretty fluffy and nothing really happened. I was honestly disappointed in this whole thing. To each their own but honestly not really worth watching

  • Flawed, but Relaxing
A Centaur's Life is a pleasant, if flawed show, tries to fit in a lot of information and ideas in a short time period, mixing in deep social commentary with fanservice. It's a fun ride from start to end, but don't expect anything amazing or fantastic. It's slice of life at its finest.

    Read the manga.

  • Liked it but the plot was hard to follow
It seems very promising I would love to see more in the future. The plot was all over the place though and even though it lacked some cohesion I would definitely watch it again. All of the characters are likable and each episode is unique. Before I got to the end of the season I was already hoping there was going to be another one coming out soon.

  • Definitely... A show.
Don't really know how to sum this one up easily. It's very... Unique, to be sure.

I wouldn't say this is a "good" anime, but there is nothing fundamentally wrong with it. The animation and VA is well done. Most of the characters are likable or, at the very least, none were annoying. But I still can't really rate it above a 3 out of 5 for the simple matter of the show itself being a bit... ...

  • Not really about a centaur's life
As this series moves along, it becomes more about discrimination and acceptance than a teen age centaur. Lots of preaching from the writers and author, that is a real turn off to me. Another negative for me, I don't find this to be funny or particularly enjoyable. There are several monster girls series that have a much higher enjoyablity factor. Choose them first.

  • Boring and difficult to watch
From what I saw the show was pretty boring for my taste. I just couldn't get into it. I didn't make it past the first episode. I'm sure it's right for some people but it's just not for me. The mythical creature concept is neat though, that is about the only positive I can give the show.

  • Gay monster girls anyone?
I absolutely adored this anime. There was a variety of monsters, as well as an explanation as to why they exist. Some may say this anime was pointless or disjointed, however I think that's missing the point.

This anime is not plot-heavy, but rather it is about building a world. In each episode, every aspect of this world has been thought about and presented. From the sort of t.v. shows watched ...

It's actually a Parody Anime of our World!
I give this 5 solid stars, its concept and delivery were not lost on me, which is the difference when it comes to others ratings. (those below 4 stars)

This is cutesy, and very much 'slice of life' but that slice pokes fun at our world as a whole extremely accurately with only slight exaggeration. This illustrates many of the 'best left unsaid' parts of our society and pushes the image of what ...
