    A very VERY pleasant suprise
I didn't hear to much about this show before it aired. But I am glad I decided to watch it. It is very compelling and intriguing, giving you enough to want to bite, but no enough to be full! The art style is very refreshing and has a nostalgic feel to it.I feel like I am watching something similar to Cowboy Beebop but with more politics and less action. Cannot wait to see every weeks episode.

    Did ACCA Escape from BBC?
ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. is exactly the sort of stylish, smart programming that I associate with the very best of BBC drama--both the storytelling and the lead are reserved yet quietly, intensely engaging. Dowa is a kingdom run more like a corporation, with thirteen autonomous states ruled by a single monarch but actually managed through a civilian-controlled agency with ...

Easily the best of Winter 2017
Combines the "country of the week" feel of Kino no Tabi with a well developed overarching plot focused on political intrigue. Also, the music is absolutely phenomenal. It may be a bit slow-paced for some folks, but your patience will absolutely pay off.

    An Anime for Storytelling
ACCA turned out to be different than what I was originally expecting, and I'm glad. The art and animation is superb, and the atmosphere this series creates keeps the viewer hooked.

If you're looking for mindless action, I'd suggest something else.

If you're looking for a good story, pull up a chair and stay awhile. You won't be disappointed.

  • A delicately pieced together story filled with political intrigue.
A story in which the main character goes at his own pace despite being at the center of a political uprising. The cast contains many likeable characters who each have their own agenda to fulfill, and their motivations drive the plot forward. The animation style is subtle, but meaningful. The soundtrack is exquisite. Bird motifs and bad puns everywhere.

Characters also like to smoke and eat ...

  • A Very nice and Relaxing Anime!
This Anime is very Relaxing and has a very nicely paced story. These are the kinds of Anime's that they need to make more of, very clam and thought out plot and Characters. The Animation is very soothing and Unique compared to other anime's which adds to it's appeal. Definitely a Must Watch!

  • Fresh with a Retro Feel: I Love ACCA
I am in love with this show. Retro artwork and feel, lovable characters. Light and whimsical atmosphere with political turmoil boiling just beneath the surface. My favorite thing about ACCA is the well-thought-out and formed districts: each one has a unique identity and style.

Excited to see where this one goes. Definitely one of my top 3 for this season, along with Tanya. Still deciding on ...

Not as good as everyone says
ACCA has several things going for it right out of the gate: it's made by a great studio, the art is unique, and the setting is interesting. The studio is the same one that did Hunter x Hunter, so I needn't say anything more about that; the art also speaks for itself. The setting requires a bit of explanation. The show is set in an isolated, fictional nation where each region is autonomous and ...

Let Us Just Start with the intro
The music soundtrack is awesome and while the storyline is so cliche' , ACCA offers it a different taste. All bets on the character Nino gaining in importance. He is as sexy as 007.

I enjoy it as one of the last adult themed entries from Crunchyroll in a venue that increasingly leans to children.
