    A very VERY pleasant suprise
I didn't hear to much about this show before it aired. But I am glad I decided to watch it. It is very compelling and intriguing, giving you enough to want to bite, but no enough to be full! The art style is very refreshing and has a nostalgic feel to it.I feel like I am watching something similar to Cowboy Beebop but with more politics and less action. Cannot wait to see every weeks episode.

    amazing tour de force anime
this was amazing run. this not only gave us a great social commentary on how different regions in the same country can see the same thing. it also brought us complex characters that were not alone smart but sexy. i love the fact that the main character was not your typical one he was smart but overly smart and wise beyond his years. every episode was used to the last minute. i great anime check it ...

    Very Engaging for some Reason
I have no idea why I liked this show so much. It is very slow paced and lacks any particularly thrilling intrigue, but it managed to entertain every week. The characters aren't particularly likable, and I wasn't really attached to any of them. The animation and music are both excellent however, and while its ending seems to come out of nowhere, it still managed to wrap up the series nicely. I ...

Looking forward to the next episode
Best of the winter season that I have watched so far. Different than the usual fare on offer. There seems to be one anime like this each season, Tricker was last season's. That in itself not a bad thing. It's Madhouse, which is a good thing.

Lot's of setup in the first episode for the rest of the series. Kudos and an extra star for casting Atsuko Tanaka the REAL THING and not a young, ...

  • Thought provoking and radically refreshing
I added this anime to my queue some time last year, strictly based on what I'd seen of the art style and that it kept popping up when I'd browse through the shows Crunchyroll offers. I feel like a fool for waiting so long to actually watch it! Was it at all what I thought it was going to be like? Absolutely not. It turned out to be another beast entirely.
I'm someone who usually watches shows ...

  • Different but truly excellent!
There is a definite slow burn to this series but towards the end it certainly keeps you on your toes. The animation style is excellent. The story is structured very well. The pacing was a bit slow in the beginning but it still manages to suck you in anyway. I honestly never thought I would cheer for giant bureaucracy. It was a truly excellent series!

  • Interesting and different from the norm
I started watching this as a "time consumer" but ended up loving it. A bit slow at first, but totally worth every minute.

I do have to say this isn't really an "action" anime so if you see comments about how it is slow, boring, forced, a commercial, are all because they either dislike the idea of smoking, or are the type to get bored after a show of no action, and no fan-service... (My ...

  • Bureaucrats Eat Sweets And Cause Trouble
It's basically what the title says. Roughly 20% of the airtime is people eating cakes, but that doesn't really detract from the show. It's a political drama with elements of dessert/bread fetishism, so prepare to hear "sanduwich breado?!" about 50 times. It has a fascinating setting, and though the characters aren't memorable, they serve the drama well. Despite a couple holes due to what I assume ...

    Dejando ...

  • An interesting story
It might be slow, but it's a great story and build up, and finishes the story off well. It's been while since I've seen an anime so well rounded out and telling a story without having to add 17 different plots, a X.5 episode summary mid way, and the dreaded "beach" episode. This doesn't have those and works great. Thanks ACCA! 9.5/10
