OK, this drama sealed it: no more American TV for me. Considering this season’s crop of new shows, it seems no writer/producer working in the U.S. today would come up with something this different. Even after reading the short description, I wasn't ready for this to be so well done. So I'm jumping here to make sure it gets some love and more viewers!

I'd never seriously considered all the drama (except the general misery and indignities of air travel) that can take place in an airport. Beyond the played out terrorism story lines, there's drug trafficking, immigration policy issues, grand larceny, general airport efficiency and safety issues, health scares, and of course romance. Setting the drama in an airport is a unique idea that works really well and makes the show timely in a way that I appreciate (as I'm a current affairs junkie).
It’s not perfect: sometimes both the intelligence and airport staff come across as stupid or incredibly incompetent (some of them would’ve been fired for their missteps), and certain plot lines are simply illogical. Still, it’s good fun to watch and certainly beats watching yet another police/medical/legal drama. Give it a try!
