  • Boring school girls?
I never thought it would be possible for high school girls to be so... boring. But such is the case of Aiura, a sweetly drawn anime that had plenty of potential, but never went anywhere.

Right at the start, we meet 15 year old Ayuko, who is starting her first day of high school. She is quickly joined by Kanaka, a deep-voiced red-head who has a bad habit of re-naming people at will, and Saki, a ...

  • In Short, a Slice-of-Life series.
Aiura is a series of short episodes under 10 minutes long on the lighter side of high school. The main characters in the series appeal as loli, tsundere, and class-clown personality types, as well as several subcategories as they take you on a very condensed journey of the first half of their school year. Viewers be warned, if you do not wish to learn horrible study habits, silly reasons to join ...

  • Think Teekyu but with slower dialog that you can follow
Think Teekyu but with slower dialog that you can follow, and fewer (but just as funny) non sequiturs. Each episode is around 4 minutes (with a huge chunk of that being the beginning and ending credits) but it's worth it. You especially need to watch all the ending credits since they frequently interrupt them for the funniest joke.

  • Favorite slice-of-life show
The artwork is gorgeous, the writing is clever and insightful, it's accurate about high school life, and the episodes are very short so it's easy to watch quickly.

I really want more! It's so cute!

Apparently I need more characters, but that's all I have to say.

    Like Sunshine in a Bottle!
You know those tiny moments when you know everything's going to work out? When you're glad and content and smiling just because? This show is the essence of that. Four minutes of tranquil dopamine overload. What more is there to say?

Sweet, happy and all-together wonderful! Worth every minute.

  • Cute, funny, and sweet - but too short
I love the idea of this show and wish they would expand it, only in the amount of 'shorts' they make. The run-time is roughly 5 minutes, but it has an OP and ED, so the actual episodes are roughly 2 to 3 minutes in total. It's enough for a nice scene or joke, but then the episode abruptly jumps into their ED. I think if it were even just a few minutes longer and they made more episodes, it would ...

  • ~~~Short and Sweet~~~
First off, please do not be put off by the shortness of the episodes. They are short, sweet and highly enjoyable. With so much over the top action/drama anime out there, a series like this is very enjoyable. It makes you laugh and smile in the best way possible :D

A five star rating for this piece of anime gold

Cute Story, something simple to watch if you don't have the time
Aiura is a wonderful story about 3 girls in High school for some odd reason I am on this slice of life kick but its all good. even though each episode is about three minutes long its enough for you to enjoy the characters and their quirks. I recommend this one if you really cant watch the ones you want and want a good chuckle in between classes

  • Even though there are crabs in the opening, they don't actually show up anywhere else
Aiura is a very short (less than 5 minutes per episode) but sweet show. It's about three high school girls (who I found adorable) and some of the people they interact with (also adorable). It's good to marathon, especially if you don't have a lot of time on your hands. I found the animation and the music really great-the opening song is funny and the ending song is sweet. By the way, they always ...
