A small dose of fun in every episode!
I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I just found out about this show and quickly marathoned it. At first I was wondering why everyone was complaining about how short the show is, and then I finished the last episode just a couple hours later (This was including breaks in between episodes).

Yeah... Everyone is right. This show is insanely short. But that's where the show gets a lot of it's ...

    Short, but still good
Despite every episode being only 4 minutes in length, Aiura was still excellent. While some might complain that each episode was too short, I still felt that this series was good. The characters moods and personalities, as well as their relationships with one another was present (a trait that is hard to come by in full length animes, let alone 4 minute shows). It is a refreshing break from work ...

  • Would be perfect if it were longer
It's simply not long enough. The characters are easy to like and their personalities really add to the show, but I really feel that the time frame that each episode is given doesn't really allow for it to really hit the 5 star rating. Even as an anime with no story line (I'm thinking on the lines of Lucky Star and Yuru Yuri), it could do so much more with the plot, but it feels like it's just ...

Huh. Didn't think these characters would be so cool.
When I first found out these were short episodes, I was thinking along the lines of Hetalia: Axis Powers, or the like. These episodes make the latter seem like movies! Alas, though these are very short episodes and we are only partway through the series, I am already finding the characters to be likable, approachable, and realistic (for the most part.) The animation is great and the voice acting ...

  • Short and sweet, as they say
Although the "episodes" are terribly short - allowing for only about a minute of time for the story when not including the title and end sequences, this is a cute little interlude of an anime. It reminds me a great deal of K-On! (I'm not entirely sure if this is an intentional similarity). It's a bit too short in my opinion to carry its own story, but its animation is very well done and all the ...

Great but could have been better.
This show had SO much potential, it is just held back that it is only three minutes, well technically one minute without the intro and outro. Either way show show is still good but it deserve..

    Triple baka (just kidding!)
Quietly clever in its gags, this anime follows three girls transitioning into high school life. Although I'm writing this review early in the series (just 2 episodes so far), I love the natural interactions amongst the characters themselves and also with regard to their environments. Additionally, the artwork is beautifully detailed for a show with such brief episodes. I am eager to watch this ...

would be more enjoyable if it was longer
It seems like the introduction sequence is longer then the actual episode. It is enjoyable, but I think I'd enjoy it more if it was fewer, but longer episodes. Perhaps I just have not experienced enough shorter style animes to appreciate it for what it is.

    Beautiful aesthetics, short bites
Just little 3 minute "bites" of a bit of flavor from the every-day lives of these three girls. It irritates me how much the character design and marketing materials make it seem like a K-ON! (and it is a bit). But the aesthetics of this anime really make up for a lot of the shallowness (thinness?) of its storyline so far.

They're so short that you don't really have to deal with mind-numbing ...

    Seems like a typical 3-min slice-of-life series
CR needs to do something to separate the 3-5 min anime from the full-length series.

This show looks like it's going to be another so-so Slice-of-Life series. As for the other person's comparison to Sparrow's Hotel, all I can say is that they are different genre anime. That would be like saying all Mecha anime stink because I like Ecchi anime. The only thing the two have in common is that ...
