    Edited following episode 7
In one of the more original series to debut on CR, this vaguely American Civil War era style war story starts us off in a land of what appears to be limited magic and post-industrial-revolution era technology, which in and of itself is a major rarity and a refreshing change of pace for setting.
When we're introduced to our main cast, we're greeted by a familiar array of characters, a lazy but ...

    If "Naruto" was "Shikumaru"
After watching the first 3 episodes of this series I am greatly impressed. I titled this review if "Naruto" was "Shikumaru" because this show follows a character very similar to Shikumaru in the Naruto series. A Lazy Genius who doesn't seem to exceptionally strong. Shikumarau has been my favorite Naruto character and on of my favorite anime characters of all time since the chunin exam in ...

The sky's the limit on this one
Good story, good drawing, great characters, with a blend of strategy and action. This was a really good show centered around warfare with a dash of politics. After the initial 13 episode run, I look forward to the continuation of this story with great anticipation. Really worth watching!

    Alderamin on the Sky.
This show is well, good. Not much of a review I know, but it is a lot like Code Geass; if you liked Code Geass then you will very much like this show. While I have only see a few episodes (only 4 are out at the time of this) It was quite a refreshing change of pace in the anime world. Not much else to say, it is a lot like Code Geass only no CC powers and set in a more american civil war type era.

Great Potential, and is worth a watch
Based on the first episode i would say this show has great potential, not much was explained about the world or how there weapons operate, but gave us a look into the character. the interactions between characters seem to move fluidly and the designs look pretty good. I will Defiantly be keeping my eye on this one.

    First impressions post ep. 2
A military strategy drama. Based in pre-industrial setting, high use of magic, strong Buccaneer themed casual outfits.

Follows a male protagonist. (can't get the name right) Solore? Narration seems to be from the future and drops hints as to what becomes of the MC, so that takes the uncertainty away. But, the story is strong enough to stand on its own. Worth the watch. Close to Lord Marksman ...

    Great Conterbalances
Shows the true horrors of war but is able to keep the world lively and wanting for more. great personalities of the main characters along with supports. Early on great Harem styles and showing that he really is as lazy as is character portrays, and comes out with a great balancing character later that helps the story along greatly.

I just binge watched the first 10 episodes
Watching the first episode I wasn't entirely convinced that I was going to enjoy this show. The setting didn't seem very original, and the cast of characters seemed bland. The main character at first glace seemed like another apathetic, overly flirtatious pervert stereotype that I've seen in way too many anime shows.

Boy was I wrong! Ikta (our protagonist) very quickly is fleshed out. We learn ...

Good stuff - Definitely worth a watch.
I don't think this is an anime that people will be unable to stop watching or something along those lines but it's a very enjoyable take on tactics, politics and friends. I can't say that all the characters are very memorable or that their development is where it should be, but the 2 main characters have decent personalities and couple that with some decent fights and even some feels, and you have ...

Starts Out Great, but is Losing My Interest
The show started out really great with its focus on character building and introducing you to the world. It lost my attention when it started focusing solely on military tactics, and put its attention on the group, rather than the individuals. I don't want to watch military maneuvers, I want to watch Ikta be clever, and see how his comrades interact and build relationships. This, I suppose, is ...
