    "Another Princess Show"
As we were settling in, getting ready to eat our food, we were trying to figure out what to watch. "Hey! Let's watch the latest Attack on Titan! I've only seen it twice so far, but you haven't seen it yet!" I said to my girlfriend.

"No. Absolutely not." Was the response. Well, you can't blame me for trying.

And then it happened. The moment every man fears the most, the single moment where ...

Old Man Gets Thrown into Magical Girl Genre
    [Based up to episode 2]
As I become older, the grumpy old person inside of me wants to admonish all the shounen and magical girl MC's that give no thought to the danger cilivains around them are put in whenever they battle. Zoroku, shares this sediment. I love him and all his grumpiness.

This anime is a strange (but good) mix, it's difficult for me to classify. In the first 10 minutes it ...

Sana and Zorroku play well off of each other. Highly original plot. It's going to be one of the best of the season!
They make it very clear at the start that this is a non-sexual relationship; yay, a normal relationship between a young girl and an old man (she reminds him of his granddaughter). Except that she has the power to change reality! They have a dramatic chase scene through the town, with magic being thrown everywhere by her two sisters and Sana. The old man whacks the three of them on the head and ...

    It's K-On But With a Story!
If you enjoy anime like K-On, Aria, and Flying Witch you will definitely like this anime, because it shares that same relaxed, optimistic feel.

Unlike those three anime, though, Alice & Zoroku has a definite story, with actual changes to the characters and world as the story progresses. It also has its share of sadness and conflict to go with the happy feelings. To ...

Alice to Zoroku - One to watch
I'd not heard of this one prior to accidentally watching it - and boy and I happy I did!

Maddness ensues right from the start and continues throughout, supplying it's audience with battle sequences, interesting characters and a backstory to remember.

If you like Magic, Action and Flowers - this is the anime for you!

    Old Man Yells at Kids!
This is a rather unique anime where characters have special powers and near super human abilities, and then you have a slightly grumpy old man who calls it like he sees it and doesn't take anyone's crap. That's Alice and Zoroku, super powered young girls (mostly), and a grumpy old man who doesn't let them get away with their super powered shenanigans. I mean there is more to the show, but that's ...

A girl who is from Wonderland trying to find out what being human is about.
I really liked the show. Good story about a girl who has powers, who is trying to find out what being human is, especially since she is from Wonderland. Wonderland is a different dimension that is reaching into the human world. Some people in the human world are getting powers from Wonderland. Sana is called the Queen of Wonderland.

nice little gem in a crap season
This pleasant little take on an Elfen Lied-esque sci-fi show kind of came out of nowhere. Think of this as Elfen Lied for a younger audience. The show starts with an escape from a lab using mysterious evolutionary powers (and that becomes the show's basis). however, there are far fewer heads being chopped off and pens being used as bullets. That goes for the whole show. There is very little ...

    Now I'm suddenly hungry
Enjoyed it up to the third episode, and then for some strange reason I can't put my finger on I had an urge to get a 1/2 LB. Original Six Dollar Thickburger®, with that Charbroiled Angus Beef Patty, not one but Two slices of cheese, ooh yeah that's what I'm talking about.

Wait what. Why is there better animated product placement than some of the background characters in my potentially good ...
