FEATURE: Nico Nico Cho Kaigi Photo Report - Part 1

You can experience the contents of Nico Nico Douga in reality

Nico Nico Cho Kaigi (Nico Nico Super Conference) was the two days festival at Makuhari Messe in Chiba on April 28 and 29. The concept of the event was “reproducing (almost) everything in Nico Nico Douga in real world”. It featured numerous entertainment events including music, dance, art, food, political discussion, religious ceremony, and of course various otaku culture. Dwango, the organizer of the event, announced the number of total visitors in two days were 92,364 and the official streaming of the event at Nico Noco Douga were viewed by 3,470,766 people.

Two of the CR News writers, Mikikazu Komatsu and Emily Balistrieri were at the event on the second day, April 29. We were able to take some photos of the event for the CR News readers outside of Japan. The part 2 of the photo report will feature Itasha (car decorated with anime/game girls) with cool cosplayers and Good Smile Company's figures.
