Fanart Friday returns, showing up at your door with a ten-gallon garbage bag that has "Trick or Treat" sprayed on it in orange paint. Last week, we took a trip through Fullmetal Alchemist, but this week we're all prepped for Halloween! Last year, we had two Halloween-themed Fanart Fridays (Scary Movie Edition and Trick or Treat Edition), but we're jamming it all into one installment for this go-around!

I get the pun--Soul Eater's Blair is a witch (and a cat). But how many of you here actually remember The Blair Witch Project?
Here's a great idea: somebody's going to get murdered every single Halloween on Detective Conan, so just dress Ran up in a very inconspicuous outfit--like a gorilla or a recycling bin--then follow anybody who goes off on their own to a deserted area and ambush the killer.
I almost didn't recognize Teddie there! So, fighting game people--with Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus out on Live (and coming to PSN on November 1), is Persona 4 Arena on the outs already?
Uhh... I'd say something funny here, but I don't know all that much about the Fate series. I watched some of Fate-stay/Night or however the hell you capitalize it, and then a bit of Fate/Zero, but never really stuck around for more. Should I?
I'm surprised that there aren't as many people palming massive basketball-sized pumpkins for this Kuroko's Basketball pic.
Luke's grown some, hasn't he? Knowing how obsessed Professor Layton is with solving puzzles, I don't think Luke ever got to trick-or-treat--he got to stay at home doing homework. The professor's a jerk, isn't he?
Out of all the video games out there, few are as Halloweeny as Castlevania. A spooky castle teeming with fierce monsters from mythologies all over the world, ruled by Count Dracula himself, and the only people who can stop him are a mythical family of vampire slayers? I'm sold!
Vocaloid fans, take over for me! Who is Ren, and what is that amazing dessert he's put together with bananas, chocolate, and a ton of whipped cream? O_O
by Tefrin READER SUBMISSION!
Okay, who in their right mind would give that girl a knife? Isn't the whole point of The Pet Girl of Sakurasou that Mashiro doesn't know anything about anything?
Yeah, that's a smart idea: draw aggro on Pyramid Head. This isn't going to end horribly at all! On that subject, I'm getting kind of tired of Konami making sure Pyramid Head appears in every Silent Hill game--he's important in Silent Hill 2, but every other time he appears it's just for fanservice's sake!
Three horror classics from one talented artist!
Oh c'mon, Ichigo, that's the laziest costume I've ever seen! You just went Bankai, popped your collar and scribbled all over your coat with chalk!
And then... Morrigan! Because Morrigan is a very important part of Halloween. Why, you ask? STOP ASKING SO MANY QUESTIONS, SHE JUST IS.
Oh, hey, it's a Mew, and... its little nest. Of terrifying pumpkins with glowing eyes. Right, we're heading out of here!
Much better! How many of you are cutting through the ranks of Team Plasma in Pokémon Black 2 (or White 2)?
A part of me wonders what Shinji's dressed up as. Pretty much the entire cast of Evangelion has some kind of horrible social deficiency, but along with Asuka's wolf costume, I can at least see Gendou and Fuyutsuki tag-teaming it as Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock.
Can you imagine how ridiculous the Halloween pranks would be in Hidden Leaf Village? On that note, how horrible would Shikamaru's pranks be?
Zoro's had a little too much to drink--Halloween is, after all, the #1 drinking holiday this side of St. Patrick's Day--so Sanji really should stop messing with him.
Has anybody made this sprite for Flander Scarlet yet? I wouldn't mind blasting through a crowd of enemies dressed as a giant pumpkin.
Please excuse me while I fill this space with OMGOMGOMGOMGOMG CAN'T WAIT FOR BAYONETTA 2.
Most of Black Butler is watching Sebastian dice people with silverware, but you have to admit the guy would be able to throw one hell of a Halloween party!
I'm not all that surprised that Key is still making incredibly popular visual novels, but until today I had no idea that the incredibly popular anime Little Busters was based on a Key VN.
I'm assuming that if you give Nami anything but money, it's the same thing as giving kids toothbrushes or packets of raisins or something. That's kind of terrifying.
Just so you know, this picture is titled "Smile! HorrorCure." Congratulations! Now you have a name to go with this terrifying sight!
And that's all for this week! What are some of your favorite horror movies, or horror-themed anime?
As always, your work is welcome here on Fanart Friday, regardless of your skill level or experience. Just send me a link to your work, and I'll make sure to include it in a future installment! For those of you wanting to get a head start on next week, we'll be covering the very broad genre of FANTASY in anime, manga, movies, games, and more!
Thanks once again for checking out Fanart Friday, and I hope all of you have a great weekend and a Happy Halloween! Stay safe out there, whether you're Trick-or-Treating, partying, or chilling at home watching horror movies!
