Danbo is the famous cardboard robot from Kiyohiko Azuma's popular manga series Yotsuba&!, which is about the amusing life and adventures of the 5-year-old girl Yotsuba Koiwai somewhere in Japan. Kotobukiya has released many Yotsuba&!/Danbo-related items including apparel, figures, and plastic model kits. And they have been well received by the fan. Last weekend Kotobukiya's Akihabara store hold a special photo shooting event with a life-size Danbo on its 4th floor. If you buy more than 1,200 yen (about US$14.64) worth Yotsuba&! items at the store, you can take a commemorative photograph with the Kigurumi Danbo. I happened to be there last Saturday and took some photos of the event for the CR News readers. Please enjoy!
