As I have reported many times, Akihabara, the Mecca of Otaku in Tokyo, changes its looks drastically every time I visit. The most advertised anime title in the street now is no doubt the DVD/Blu-ray set of the two Puella Magi Madoka Magica films "Hajimari no Monogatari" and "Eihen no Monogatari," which was just released in Japan on July 24 and sold 80,000 Blu-ray units in the first week. Just walking around the street filled with the colorful ads for the latest anime, manga, and game titles is so exciting for the fans!
