FEATURE: "Anohana" Film Exhibition in Osaka Theater

One of the successful summer anime films

Umeda Burg 7, which is located in the south of JR Osaka Station, is one of the biggest cinema complexes in Osaka-city. It has occasionally hold a special exhibition for popular anime films being released. Following the one for Gintama: The Movie: The Final Chapter: Be Forever Yorozuya in July, it now features the anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day film. The event titled "Anohana: Secret Peace" includes a 1/1 size Menma character panel, a replica set of the secret base, and a 3D panorama scene display.

 

The anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day film was released in Japan on August 11 and has become a surprising hit. It debuted in the 3rd in the Japanese box office and earned 198,177,700 yen (about US$1.98 million) in the first weeked with only 64 screens. As of September 18, it has sold 498,002 tickets for 660,568,300 yen (about US$6.6 million) in 19 days since its release.
