The 11th Machi Asobi, the biggest anime/manga/game event on the island of Shikoku, was held in Tokushima-city between October 12 and 14. "Machi" literally means town, city, or street, and "Asobi" means playing, game, or amusement. The bi-annual event (usually in May and October) is produced by the Tokushima studio of ufotable (Tales of Symphonia, Fate/ZERO, Kara no Kyoukai - the Garden of sinners) and supported by Tokushima City Tourist Association.
One of the main features at the 11th event was the Itasha exhibitions, where dedicated fans displayed their beloved cars decorated with colorful anime girl stickers. The exhibitions were held at two places; a parking lot near the main stage on the top of the Bizan Mountain and Shinmachigawa Mizugiwa Park in the city. More than 50 decorated cars gathered to appeal their "moe" passion to the visitors. Which Itasha do you want to drive?
