FEATURE: "Nostalgic Hero Toy Exhibition" Report 1: Character Figures

2,000 anime/tokusatsu character figures from 1960s to 2000s

Tokushima Shimbun, a local newspaper in Tokushima-city, will celebrate its 70th anniversary next year. As a pre-event for its anniversary project, they are holding "Nostalgic Hero Toy Exhibition" featuring 2,000 Japanese figures from 1960s to 2000s on the 2nd and 3rd floor of Nishisenba Building in the city, luckily very close to the main sites of the 11th Machi Asobi. The dates that this event are being held on are from September 28 to October 27. The exhibits on the second floor are mainly character figures of the popular anime/tokusatsu shows from 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s. And the 3rd floor is focused on kaiju figures like Godzilla and Ultra monsters (the report will be posted tomorrow).
