Paradise Kiss Adaptation Spins Off into Mobile Drama

4-episode series follows the exploits of four characters

Japanese moviegoers planning to attend showings of the live-action Paradise Kiss adaptation—based on the Ai Yazawa's manga of the same name—have something else to tide them over until the June 4 premiere. Paradise Kiss: After School is a 4-episode spin-off series that will be available exclusively through mobile content service "LISMO Drama!"

Episodes of After School will hit the service on Fridays. The series is written and directed by Fukuda Yuichi (The 3-Mei-sama), and serves as a "comical look" at the lives of George (Osamu Mukai), Isabella (Shunji Igarashi), Miwako (Aya Omasa) and Arashi (Kento Kaku). Members of the Paradise Kiss cast reunited four months after the film's shoot wrapped to reprise their respective roles.

Yazawa's manga was previously adapted into an Madhouse-produced anime in 2005. Paradise Kiss: After School kicks off via LISMO Drama! on May 6.
