If you're tired of banging up your Nendoroid figures by literally banging them against one another in mock battle, Namco Bandai is working on a game just for you. Nendoroid Generation puts Good Smile Company's popular line of toys in the halls of Nendo High School, where the diminutive dolls will both fight… and dance!
That's right, there is a "Dance Mode" in Nendoroid Generation, but the game is an RPG first and foremost, complete with a battle system that allows for chain combos and group attacks. Japanese gaming mag Weekly Famitsu recently showed off a bunch of screens, as well as a peek at the character roster.
The characters introduced thus far include Black Rock Shooter, Dead Master and Black Gold Saw from Black Rock Shooter; Saber, Rider and Rin Tosaka from Fate; Nanoha Takamachi and Fate Testarossa from Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha; and Haruhi Suzumiya, Yuki Nagato and Mikuru Asahina from Haruhi Suzumiya.
As of right now Nendoroid Generation is about 20% complete, and Good Smile Company CEO Takanori Aki said that there are still many more characters to be added and announced. It is currently listed as an unspecified 2011 release.
