It's been a whopping 30 years since legendary rocker Tomoyasu Hotei started his career as a musician. Even if you haven't listened to any of his singles or albums, you've likely heard "Battle Without Honor or Humanity"—at this point it's even been used in Hotel for Dogs. In celebration of the anniversary, Hotei is gearing up to release a new single, as well as some collaborations with fellow artists.
"ALL TIME SUPER GUEST" will be the first of Hotei's special albums, the highlight of which is sure to be a guitar battle between Hotei, MIYAVI, BUCK-TICK's Hisashi Imai, and Soutai Seiriron's Seiichi Nagai. In addition to that, artists will be performing Hotei's hits, from "DIVING WITH MY CAR" (Kishidan) to "DREAMIN" (Dragon Ash).
Finally, Tomoyasu Hotei will be releasing a new single called "PROMISE," set to land in both regular and limited edition CDs on May 18. In the words of Hotei himself, "C'mon, everybody!"
