North America has already gotten a taste of CLAMP's Kobato manga thanks to the volumes Yen Press has published thus far, and now the 2009-2010 anime adaptation is on the way from the folks at Sentai Filmworks.
New of the acquisition came via Sentai's panel at Kawaii Kon this past weekend. Produced by Madhouse and directed by Mitsuyuki Masuhara (Chi's Sweet Home), Kobato follows the titular girl who fills a bottle with the feelings of people she has cured of pain and suffering.
CLAMP's manga has been ongoing since 2005, first serialized in Monthly Sunday Gene-X, and then in Newtype, where it runs to this day. The anime adaptation ran for 24 episodes.
