The Reminiscences of Suzumiya Haruhi Sells About 34000 Copies in First Week

PS3 version takes 2nd place overall while PSP version takes 4th place

According to this week's Media Create sales ranking, The Reminiscences of Suzumiya Haruhi has sold just under 34,000 copies combined between its PS3 and PSP releases in its first week. The PS3 version was 2nd place overall for the week with just under 19,000 copies sold and the PSP version was 4th place overall with just under 15,000 copies sold. The top seller for the week as an individual title was (again) Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2 Professional with a little under 21,000 copies.

According to the 2ch video games sales thread, as far as first week sales go, Reminiscences is the 3rd highest selling Haruhi console game when the two versions are combined.  However, they are par for the course when considered separately as only 2 Haruhi games have broken 20000 in their first week.

The Reminiscences of Suzumiya Haruhi was released on May 12th. The "Wandering Adventure Game" takes place just after the movie, The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, as Kyon finds himself trapped within many parallel worlds with just 48 hours to put everything back together.
