Ok, so the latest trailer for Grasshopper Manufacture's Shadows of the Damned—a hellish action game created by the dynamic duo of Suda51 (No More Heroes) and Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil)—is about as "mature" as a Big Johnson t-shirt, but under the gags is a quick look at its weapon upgrade system. Hit the jump (and the video's age gate) to see how the game lets you "enlarge your johnson"…
Man, that's such a corny premise for a trailer that it was actually painful to type! Regardless of how absurd the latest video may be, Shadows of the Damned looks to take the Resident Evil 4 style of third-person gunplay up a notch, in more ways than one. Check it out if you're old enough. While it's not gruesome or anything, the trailer's content is NSFW enough to warrant mention.
The game's story is simple. Demonic creatures kidnap Garcia Hotspur's (awesome name) girlfriend, prompting him to take a violent trip to the City of the Damned to get her back. Sounds like the premise of Double Dragon, but in Hell… with really big guns.
Shadows of the Damned comes out on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on June 21, 2011.
