Osamu Tezuka Special Program on NHK World TV

Featuring the new movie "Tezuka Osamu's Buddha -Akai Sabaku yo! Utsukushiku- "

NHK (Nippon Hoso Kyokai) is Japan's national public broadcasting organization. They operate international broadcast service called NHK WORLD, which includes international television, radio and Internet services. "imagine-nation", a NHK WORLD TV's comics, anime and game-focused program will feature Osamu Tezuka, who known as "God of manga" in Japan, this week.

 

The program will also introduce a new anime movie "Tezuka Osamu's Buddha -Akai Sabaku yo! Utsukushiku-" based on Tezuka's manga. The first on-air of the program will be on June 1, 8:00 am (JST), May 31, 4:00 pm (PDT). There will be five repeats in the next day. People outside of Japan can watch the program via satellite and cable channels, or on their website.
