Half-Minute Hero (Yuusha 30) made its North American debut on PSP back in 2009. Imagine a role-playing world in which the gravest of crises must be resolved in a snappy 30 seconds and you've got the gist. A trailer for the upcoming Xbox Live Arcade version of the game shows what those 30 seconds will look like in HD.
The visuals in the video are entirely optional, of course, should one prefer the style of the portable, pictured below.
Half-Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax only contains the "Hero 30" mode of Half-Minute Hero, but adds a host of new content to the mix. "Hero 30" puts the hero in an RPG-style realm where they are tasked with completing various missions—from clearing dungeons to general leveling—within an allotted time (like, say, 30 seconds). Climax tosses in the option of HD visuals, 62 additional missions, and a "Super Hero Wars" four-player online mode.
Half-Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax hits Xbox Live Arcade on June 29 for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).
