If you're still unsure of what to expect out of Blade, the 4th in MADHOUSE Studios' series of Marvel anime collaborations, perhaps the 3rd teaser will help further illuminate what's to come.
Blade follows the titular vampire hunter, born with both vampire and human blood. In the series Blade tracks down Deacon Frost—the vampire who attacked his mother, thus eventually giving Blade the form he has now—while visiting Japan, and also confronts the mysterious organization known as "Existence."
The series is directed by Mitsuyuki Masuhara (Chi's Sweet Home, Kobato), with Battle Royale II director—and son of legendary filmmaker Kinji Fukasaku—Kenta Fukasaku handling the scripts. Akio Ohtsuka (Black Jack's Black Jack, Ghost in the Shell's Batou) plays the daywalkin' lead role.
Blade is set to premiere in Japan on July 1.
