"Dragon Age" Anime Pushed to 2012

Animated film titled "Dawn of the Seeker"

Originally planned for a home video release in 2011, the FUNimation-produced "anime feature film" based on Bioware's Dragon Age series of role-playing games will now be making its debut in 2012.


As previously reported, the executive producers behind the film are Bioware's Executive Producer Mark Darrah and Creative Director Mike Laidlaw, along with FUNimation President and CEO Gen Fukunaga and Director of Original Entertainment Chris Moujaes.


The film—now titled Dragon Age: Dawn of the Seeker—will be the first title out of FUNimation's Original Entertainment team. You can check out a couple of videos, as well as a fresh poster, below:
