Miku Designer KEI's "Copihan" Anime to Stream Next Week

Anime collaboration with Gonzo set to hit Nico Nico Douga

The first episode of Copihan, the anime collaboration between studio Gonzo and Hatsune Miku designer KEI, will begin streaming next week on Nico Nico Douga. After that they'll be hitting the service every other week.

The original announcement of the stream comes from the official Copihan Twitter. The series partners anime powerhouse Gonzo (Last Exile, Gad Guard) with KEI, Hatsune Miku designer, to spin a slapstick school comedy set in Tokyo in the year 2034. KEI has also been drawing the manga series, which started running in Jive's Monthly Comic Rush magazine last November.

The stream begins at 24:00 on August 11, straddling that fine line between Thursday and Friday. The stream will be available on Copihan's exclusive Nico Nico Douga channel.
