The first Japanese female VOCALOID

Mikatan's Blog introduced the newest entry from Good Smile Company's Nendoroid VOCALOID series, MEIKO, on August 2. The sculptor is Yukiwo Ageta, who has been working on the previous VOCALOID Nendoroids. So far Hatsune Miku, KAITO, and Megurine Luka have been released from the series. The price and the release date of the Nendoroid MEIKO have not announced yet.


MEIKO is the first Japanese VOCALOID. Her voice is provided by the Japanese female singer Haigo Meiko. The illustration was drawn by Shogo Washizu. The software was released on November 5, 2004.
