Hatsune Miku Project DIVA Arcade to Debut at J-Pop Summit

New People and Sega team up to bring the Miku game stateside

The folks at New People continue to stack up the reasons to attend the J-Pop Summit Festival, which takes place in San Francisco's Japantown on August 27 and 28. The latest is the US debut of Sega's Hatsune Miku Project DIVA Arcade game.


According to the press release, the arcade cabinet is being shipped from Japan as a special treat for J-Pop Summit attendees, and marks the first unit outside of Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore. Tickets to play can be purchased for $1, and sales kick off at 11:00am on Saturday, August 27. Due to time limits, only 50 tickets will be available per day.


Hatsune Miku Project DIVA Arcade will also be available to play for free at the J-Pop Summit VIP party, which takes place Saturday August 27 from 7:30pm-10:00pm at NEW PEOPLE. Tickets to the VIP party are available now.
