Oooooooh snap! I just crapped my pants in happiness! :D
A trilogy based on the Golden Age arc? So three movies based on this arc alone? Why? The original series which was 25 episodes long already covered the Golden Age arc and a little bit of the black swordsman/retribution arc.

Sounds like a waste of time and effort to me. They need to either pick up the millenium falcon arc or the black swordsman/retribution arc.
That's just the start, they said these are just the beginning of the project, i plan to eventually cover everything the manga covers.
I'm glad Berserk is getting some attention again. Hopefully the movies will do well enough to let the other arcs get worked on
Only good things can come from this project. I hope they see a US release.
Here's an old classic getting a movie trilogy, interesting especially considering the arc chosen.
