Humm I sense a lack of proof reading... " there aren't shots of the actors in custom yet" don't you mean costumes? :)

But it is nice to see this project going forward.
OMG i never even knew they were making a live action move of kenshin! one of my all time favorites! cant wait to see more of this!
Okay, Sanosuke's zanbatou is supposed to be bigger than him! It doesn't have to be forged; just make a hollow replica! There will be blood if they use that "thing" in the movie!
oh yes there will be blood
hhhhhhheeeeeeeeeelllll yeah
And by "blood", I mean that the fans (including me) will be super PISSED!!!
the Zanba sure looks small...
omg will it be out in american theaters?????????
This would have to be licensed by an American company first, which hasn't happened yet. Assuming it was licensed, it would depend on the company bringing it over if it got a limited theater release or not. More than likely though, IF it did get licensed, probably not.
thats why im sceptical....kenshin is a masterpiece, how could one possibly replicate?
Zanbto should be bigger
A Zanbato was more like a Katana, only longer. This looks more like an Eku, a Okinawan kobudō weapon that was derived from an ore.

Sanosuke's was kind of neither, like a giant crudely bladed but effective for him type pole arm.

This one is fine for live action, has a bit more character that is better suited for live action, where as the original works great for anime.
**That's oar, as in boat oar, not ore.
I cannot wait for the prop replica of Kenshin's sword to come out. I'll buy that in a heartbeat.
I cannot wait! It's a fantastic show and manga so fingers crossed the movie will be just as great!
Looks neat. I'd rather there be more Anime though.
I've no problem with Sanosuke's sword being smaller than its anime counterpart, since here in the REAL WORLD swinging around a sword, or anything for that matter, that is longer than you are tall is just not practically feasible.
