Gurren Lagann "Believe in Yourself" Charity Book Offered for Kindle

Proceeds from the 84 page book will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society

Believe in Yourself, a Gurren Lagann themed collection of works from an international group of artists, is now available in North America from Amazon's Kindle digital book stores.  Proceeds from the 84 page book will be donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society. 

 

First sold in Japan at various events including Comic Market 80 this summer, sales of Believe in Yourself have raised over 3,000,000 yen so far.



"The idea for this project came from the compelling need to do something after the Great East Japan Earthquake," said Masahiko Otsuka, project leader of this charitable endeavor. "Several of my friends and staff in the anime industry wanted to contribute somehow, and we came up with creating an illustration book to benefit charity."



Kindle books an be view on a host of devices including iOS and Android capable ones, and on PCs via a client downloadable on Amazon.

 

This book was published due to a collaboration of animators, illustrators, artists, and creators from both Japan and the United States to give courage, hope, and belief to the people of Japan following the Great East Japan Earthquake. All illustrations were specifically drawn for this book.
