At Denver's Nandesukon, Bandai Entertainment outlined releases plans for the fourth volume of Gundam Unicorn, the never-before available in English Turn A Gundam, K-On volume 3, Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya and more.
Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn 4 will be released on December 2nd simultaneously with Japan with an MSRP of $59.98, K-On volume 3 on the 13th, Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya on the 20th, and Tales of the Abyss in October with a limited edition including the first volume of the companion manga.
Turn A Gundam will begin its release cycle this year and is planned for four parts, but will be released sub-only. ∀Gundam (or Turn A Gundam), features mecha marching onto a landscape of World War I tech, as well as a creative team that includes franchise creator Yoshiyuki Tomino, Yoko Kanno music, and design by futurist Syd Mead and Capcom's Akira Yasuda.
Akira will be re-released on DVD but will be shipped with the Pioneer re-dub due to licensing issues preventing the release of the film with the Streamline Pictures dub.
Bandai also clarified that rights to Bones animated fantasy Scrapped Princess have expired.
