Yaraon! reports on a live-action Ranma ½ TV adaptation, which is set to air on NTV as a two-hour special this December.
The fresh take on Rumiko Takahashi's classic gender-transforming martial arts manga comedy—also adapted into an anime that aired from 1989-1992—comes in the form of a two-hour special. It will star Yui Aragaki (Sh15uya) as Akane, with Kento Kaku (Paradise Kiss 2011) and Natsuna (Kei Kishimoto in the live-action Gantz) set to play the male and female sides of Ranma, respectively.
