On September 28, the cyber crime unit of Hyogo Prefectural Police arrested a 32-year-old male primary teacher from Kanazawa-city, Ishikawa, on suspicion of using Share file-sharing software to upload the episodes of the TV anime K-ON!!, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai in the beginning of August without the permission from the copyright holder of the series.

According to the report, the police have found that the suspect had downloaded more than one thousand 30-minutes anime episodes in his PC. He admitted his guilt. The future of his career as school teacher is uncertain.
