Not all delay news is bad news. Take Sega's recent decision to push Phantasy Star Online 2 back to 2012, for instance. Feedback from the game's alpha testing brought some gameplay issues to light, and Sega is taking the time to address them.
Of course, this is a relatively moot point for most of us, as Phantasy Star Online 2 is likely to stay in Japan. It's a shame, because I personally remember putting in literally hundreds of hours into the first on on Dreamcast. Actually… maybe it's good I won't be getting an opportunity to blow time like that again.
It's still nice to see Sega taking alpha testing feedback to heart, and the dev will be conducting a second test during the first part of 2012 to evaluate the adjustments made.
