Moms Pick "Heidi, Girl of the Alps" as Best Old School Anime to Show Children

Market research firm MACROMILL recently conducted a survey, asking mothers to pick the best, older anime to first show children of the 21st Century. Topping the list of results was Heidi, Girl of the Alps—the 1974 World Masterpiece Theater adaptation of Johanna Spyri's novel—directed by Studio Ghibli co-founder Isao Takahata, with Hayao Miyazaki on scene design.
