Hello Kitty Gets Moe Makeover
Figure based on redesign available in March 2012
Back at 2009's summer Comiket, Sanrio presented Together With Hello Kitty, a collection of redesigns of their famous feline by moe artists like Okama, POP (Moetan), and Kuroboshi Kouhaku (Kino's Journey). Now, the latest to be realized as a 3D figure is Okama's kitty attired Iroha Nekomura. The 16cm Together with Hello Kitty! "Iroha Nekomura" will be available in March 2012 for 8190 yen ($106.00).

A brilliant scheme. For those that don't find appeal in the standard Hello Kitty, this opens up a path for the other audience into all things moe and the like.

I didn't say MOE=PEDO. Cute is one thing and I get it... however when it goes to far then its creepy. If you are not a creepy moe guy... then you should not be offended.. I am talking about the Love Plus Marrying, Statue of little girls and a weird fetish with school uniforms guys... If you are one of those.. then yea... it's creepy... if not.. then don't worry about it.

Too many people here have a weird imagination and are seeing this incorrectly. This isn't some breeze-raised dress flashing underwear. The outfit is at its maximum length there, and that is not her underwear. It is experimental fashion, like what you'd see at a fashion show.

More disturbing than cute, I'd say. What's with the dresses that are shorter in front, or have weird splits between the legs? I've seen this in so many anime, I have to wonder if it's some sort of bizarre fashion statement, or if it's just pandering to perverts.

As a male I'd been avoiding Hello Kitty because I thought it was too female centric without anything that appealed to a male audience. However, this figure is quite neat and I'd love to buy it.

Wow @ Cecilthedarkknight234, no less than 6 posts in defense of this thing... methinks you may have a closet fetish sir(jk)... But all kidding aside, A) I abominate all things cute, and B) I think lolicon is just an excuse for pedio pervs in the states to fap to little girls without getting on a sex offender list. All these comments on her belly showing, is rather silly. I've seen them before and its one of the things i just can't stand about Americans (Want a big discussion on it? Look up Tera online on my favorite race the Elins). So a little doll is showing a little skin, it automatically appeals to the lolicons out there? I mean seriously have you been to the beach or beauty pageants for kids? But seriously though I'm a fangirl of everything cute, I just love anything thats tiny and cute!
