"Professor Layton" Game Headed to iOS

Level-5 series ends exclusivity with Nintendo

Until now, the Professor Layton name was more or less synonymous with Nintendo's portables, despite being developed by Level-5. Now that exclusivity is coming to an end, with an iOS game called Layton Brothers: Mystery Room on its way to iOS.

 

There aren't any concrete details on the game at the moment other than the title, and the fact that it stars "the intuitive son of Hershel Layton," but it's certainly no small leap for a series that's proven so successful for Nintendo over the years. 

 

The latest title, out now on Nintendo DS, is Professor Layton and the Last Specter. Savor those golden memories, as the next time you see the good Professor he may be peering quizzically from within an iPhone or iPad.

OMG ALL THE MORE REASON MY MOM NEEDS TO INVEST MONEY FOR MY FAMILY TO GET IPHONES. (Seriously, my dad actually needs one for his job, and frankly, I'm tired of my non-smart phone. LOL The camera recently stopped working.)

So yeah. I want this. A lot. And so, I need an iPhone.
