VIDEO: Gainax's "Negiman" Returns!

The Daicon Man is Back to Save the Day!

GAINAX (Neon Genesis Evangelion, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, FLCL, Gunbuster) co-produced independent tokusatsu film "Negiman" is back for a newly posted second episode. Watch the raddish shaped hero fight to save Tottori Prefecture and maybe the world!

 

 

"Negiman" is produced by the former staff of the legendary DAICON FILM and the present members of GAINAX. The director of "Negiman", Takami Akai directed the DAICON's last film "The Return of Yamatano-Orochi" in 1984. He became a co-founder of GAINAX and produced a successful game series "Princess Maker" at the GAINAX's game division.

 

It was originally produced to promote the Yonago Eiga Jihen independent film festival, held in Yonago, Tottori, on September 23-25, 2011.

Darn...I read it and thought it said 'Negima' and I was all like 'NEGIMA'S GETTING A NEW SERIES!?!?!"...and then I reread it, and my excitement dropped...still, this looks entertaining enough. I'll probably take a look at it sometime later on.

Negima sucks anyways so it probly shouldn't get a new series ._.
