Gary Oldman, Helena Bonham Carter Offered Roles in Live-Action AKIRA
Actors would play Colonel and Lady Miyako, respectively
Some more Akira casting possibilities have surfaced, which is no surprise since Warner Bros. finally officially green-lit the live-action film, directed by Orphan's Jaume Collet-Sera. The latest pair of maybes are Gary Oldman and Helena Bonham Carter.
According to Twitch, Gary Oldman has been offered the role of The Colonel (Colonel Shikishima), and Helena Bonham-Carter has been offered Lady Miyako.
