Compile Heart's Mugen Souls—a PlayStation 3 RPG set for release in Japan next year—now has an official website and, naturally, its very first trailer to go along with it. Check out the unusual means of promotion below.
Even stranger is the game's producer, who is listed as "New Keiji Inafune," yet has nothing to do with former Capcom top dog and Mega Man mastermind Keiji Inafune. Instead, you can watch this Inafune flub a dance number.
The trailer promises that Inafune will not actually appear in game. As for Mugen Souls itself, the RPG will allow players to land infinite combos and moves, possibly dealing a trillion points of damage in the process. Characters can be leveled endlessly, and even the protagonist Shu Shu Infinite can change both her personality and appearance.
Mugen Souls hits Japanese PS3 in March 2012 in both a regular edition (¥7,329) and a limited package with a bonus DVD and Nendoroid Puchi figurines (¥9,429).
