More "Miniami-ke" Anime Coming
Previously teased back in July
The end of character song CD which comes with the limited edition 9th volume of the Minamike manga announces that more Minamike anime is being made according to those who have obtained a copy early. Whether it will be the 4th TV series or in some other format is not said, but it is said, "It would be nice if it was a TV series." Back in July, it was teased that an announcement would probably be coming this fall.
The limited edition 9th volume of the manga goes on sale November 3rd and comes with a drama CD, a character song CD and a 2012 calendar.

What happened is that the companies changed, from Daume in the first season, to Asread in the following.
The first season was good.
THe second season was... to say the least, terrible. The art style changed, and they added ecchi into it...
The third season was ok. THe art syle changed again to fit closer to the original adaption. Probably cause the director had a change of heart, or actually changed.
Most likely, it will change again. I heard somewhere that the original animd production company, i.e. Daume, would be taking it again, but I dunno where I got that from.

For all those who don't know, there was Minami-ke, Minami-ke Okawari, Minami-ke Okaeri, and the Minami-ke OVA. I really hope they go with the studios that did the first and third seasons. Didn't care for the art for the 2nd season at all. By the way, have any of the Minami-ke seasons even been released in America? I felt like I had looked for them before but couldn't find any.
Just so you know, The first season was done by Daume. THe second, third season AND OVA were done by Asread.
The same companies did the art for both the second and third season, which makes your statemet invalid.
I also read/heard somewhere that Daume, i.e. the makers of the first season, were going to take on this next project, but I'm not sure if that was sourced or my imagination.
Also, Asread is terrible.
Finally, they ruined the Mirai Nikki anime adaption.

YEA!!!! 4th season XD more epicness and comedy. So it seems the art style is changing again
