"Chrono Cross" Kicks Off Square Enix's Winter of RPGs

This, Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VI get dated for PSN

We already knew these titles were coming eventually thanks to ESRB listings, but now Square Enix is ready to kick off its "Winter of RPGs" campaign on PlayStation Network with Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy V, and Final Fantasy VI.

Announced on Sony's PlayStation Blog, the trip down memory lane begins on November 8, when Chrono Cross hits Sony's download service.

Adding to the PlayStation One fun is Final Fantasy V on November 22, and Final Fantasy VI on December 6. Both titles hit PSone the first time around—after debuting on Super Famicom/SNES, of course—via the Final Fantasy Anthology compilation in 2003.

Who plans to double (or triple… or more!) dip on these classic RPG experiences this winter? Anyone going to be tackling them for the first time?
