"Sailor Moon" Manga Tops Charts for Second Month

Naruto, Vampire Knight, Rosario + Vampire and Black Butler Also Hit Top 10

ICV2 reports that Sailor Moon Vol. 1 held the #1 position for the second month in a row in the Nielsen BookScan chart of the Top 20 adult graphic novels sold in bookstores in October. Craig Thompson's much talked about Islamic fairytale Habibi rose from fourth place to second in the month following its debut, while five other manga titles joined Sailor Moon in the top 10.

How is anyone not already aware of this? Volume 1 was released by Kodansha in September.

I am guessing it is a reboot, a reprint, or Trade for the Kindle or something like that.

It's a re-translated new collection of the Sailor Moon manga. The title has been unavailable in North America since the previous Tokyopop collection went out print in 2005

Not to mention that this is the renewal editions that were originally released in Japan in 2003-2004. These are pretty different from the original manga that Mixx/Tokyopop released back in the day.
