Manga Artist Takehiko Inoue Prepares New Chapter of "Vagabond"

Title Has Been on Hiatus Since 2010

Takehiko Inoue (Slam Dunk) has announced that he has begun preparing layouts for new chapters of his Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize winning and Eisner Award nominated manga series Vagabond, which has been on hiatus since 2010. Inoue's manga loosely adapts Eiji Yoshikawa's fictionalized biography of "Sword Saint" and Book of Five Rings author Miyamoto Musashi.

Inoue says he's still discussing the how and when of Vagabond's return to print in Morning magazine, but he'll provide more details as soon as he can.

Vagabond is published in North America by Viz.
