Just yesterday we were talking about the "resurrection" Hiroyuki Takei's Shaman King is experiencing, and now we have word on a sequel series. Titled Shaman King -Flowers-, the adventure of Shaman King protagonist Yoh Asakura's son kicks off in April 2012.
The announcement comes from the fifth volume of Shueisha's Jump Kai magazine, in which the new series will appear. Yoh's son is named Hana Asakura (hence the title), and he apparently holds even greater abilities than his father.
As previously reported, Takei also worked on a short Shaman King "zero story." It was during that announcement that this "Big Project"—which we now know as Flowers—was teased.
