Based upon the DC Comics super hero, GREEN LANTERN: THE ANIMATED SERIES follows Earth's Green Lantern, Hal Jordan, who is used to being in dangerous situations — but never anything like this! In the farthest reaches of deep space, Hal patrols the Guardian Frontier, where he must face down invasions from the evil Red Lantern Corps., who have sworn to destroy the Green Lanterns and everything they stand for. With ever-emerging galactic threats, Hal is soon joined by an all-new group of heroes on a mission to protect Guardian Space — and the Green Lantern Corps itself!

In the first part of the two-part series premiere episode, ace test pilot Hal Jordan (voiced by JOSH KEATON), who leads a secret life as Earth's guardian Green Lantern, is called back to Oa.  Searching for the culprits behind a series of Green Lantern deaths in "Frontier Space", Hal and his gruff fellow Green Lantern Kilowog (voiced by KEVIN MICHAEL RICHARDSON) “commandeer” The Interceptor, a prototype spaceship powered by pure Green Lantern energy and an advanced artificial intelligence system that Hal names Aya (voiced by GREY DeLISLE).

In the second half of the two-part series premiere episode, Hal and Kilowog discover that a group of Red Lanterns, including the conflicted Razer (voiced by JASON SPISAK) and the vile Zilius Zox (voiced by TOM KENNY) have been targeting and eliminating Green Lanterns in Frontier Space.  Along with the help from a surviving Frontier Space Green Lantern Shyir Rev (voiced by KURTWOOD SMITH), Hal and Kilowog must stop the Red Lantern leader Atrocitus (voiced by JONATHAN ADAMS) from destroying Shyir's home planet of Colony 12.

These look a little more interesting than a lot of other shows on CN.

But honestly, CN started sucking after they got rid of their old good shows and Toonami, along with adding new trash shows.
Agreed. I havent had any respect for CN since they canceled all their good shows like Venture Bros, Dexters Lab and Johnny Bravo.
The -original- Dexter's Lab, mind you. That abomination of a re-styling they created shortly before its cancellation should have been locked away in the ark of the covenant.
CN never cancelled Venture Brothers. It's where it's always been, on the Adult Swim block. Adult Swim did put show airings on hiatus a little while after the end of the 4th season, but it's back and the 5th season is coming (I don't remember when, though).

Also CN revived Johnny Bravo after the original cancellation. The new episodes were awful, though, so it was mercifully put down before it did too much damage.
The new Thundercats show is alot better than other shows on CN (outside the Adult Swim block), enough so that it should be on another network (along with revivals of all the good shows that CN has cancelled without good reason over the years).
I've hated CN since they canceled Teen Titans, and Justice League, but I've made up since Young Justice and these two series arrived.
Too bad CR can Simulcast these series too in some 'US Wanna Be Anime' Section.
why do they insist on making tv cartoon in CGI ? they always look sh*ty. leave it to the movie studios.
Also thunder cats are ok and justice league is pretty good.,
I'm digging the Green Lantern series style. Thundercats are looking really good.
That was one of the few reasons I watched TV as a kid. Thundercats HO!
