"Super Mario 3D Land" Event Takes Over Times Square
Photos show fans platforming on Nintendo's life-size 3D Land playground
Much like Jurassic Park's John Hammond, Nintendo spared no expense to bring the past to life in Times Square this weekend. In celebration of Super Mario 3D Land, out today on Nintendo 3DS, a life-size replica of Mario's platforming wonderland took over Military Island.
