Rumiko Takahashi's Pre-Ranma Relationship Comedy Inspires New Slot Machine

At this point, it's little surprise when the popularity of a Rumiko Takahashi story proves to be evergreen. However, in this case, it's not another figure of Urusei Yatsura's tiger-striped, bikini-clad Lum, or even a live-action adaptation of Ranma 1/2. It's a pachinko slot machine based on the 1980s seinen romance between a college entrance exam failure and his widowed landlady, Maison Ikkoku.

The machine will be available in Japan in January 2012.
